What's in Your Personal Learning Environment?

Following the two previous posts (here and here), I'm interested in what your experience may be with this model and diagram. It would be a learning experience for me to see how your personal learning environment looks when placed on this same type of model, and perhaps we can crowd source improvements to the model.

To that end, the PSD file - which can be opened and edited by Photoshop, Fireworks or Gimp - is available for you to use to place your tools on the same diagram. If you do use the image and share your PLE, I would appreciate a quick comment to this blog to help identify where some of these are around the web.

I've tweaked it a bit to make it more usable for those that may have more tools in their PLE than I do. The current version of my PLE is here as well.

Interesting post on what a personal learning environment is. I had fun making my own diagram. I posted it over on my blog at http://geek.michaelgrace.org/2009/07/my-personal-learning-environment/ Thanks for your posts. I look forward to more in the future. ;)

Interesting to see how the concept could be tied into something like the CLSI or the LASSI.

Nice Idea using a VENN diagram ... I've linked to it from http://www.shambles.net/pages/learning/infolit/pln/

The visualisation of my own PLN can be seen at http://www.shambles.net/csmith/pln this also includes my online digital footprint that I think is different from a PLN/PLE

One time consuming task was to collect all the website logos/icons (favicons) ... I've put them in a folder and you can download them all here ... http://drop.io/shamblesguru

Hopefully will save you some time
